Product Description
The goal of the 2018 CRITICS Workshop is to bring together members of the Innovative Training Network (ITN) CRITICS, as well as a small number of invited speakers from outside the network, to create a unique and multidisciplinary collaborative research environment.
In particular, mathematicians and applied scientists working in different fields suggest the existence of generic early-warning signals that could indicate imminent critical transitions or tipping points. The focus of this workshop will be on extensions of the classical bifurcation theory for nonlinear systems to nonautonomous (deterministic or random) dynamical systems to capture different types of critical transitions as well as the associated early-warning signals in real systems from applications..
