ECPLF Workshop Monday 26th August, 2019

Workshop on Developing Strategies for Training Highly Qualified PLF Personnel

A workshop will be held on the above topic between 13:00 – 16:00 on the day before the conference (on Monday 26th August 2019).
The workshop will be held at the conference venue (University College Cork).

This workshop will address issues such as :
• The training needs of personnel coming to work in PLF from various disciplinary perspectives
• Different approaches currently being developed to train highly qualified personnel (HQP) in PLF
• Potential funding sources for creating training programs
• A breakout session (into small groups) to develop concrete ideas for training that addresses needs
• Determining next steps based on small group ideas
