Description:
The theme of the 16th International Conference on Human Resource Development Research and Practice across Europe, to be held in the School of Management and Marketing, University College Cork, Ireland from the 3rd – 5th June 2015 centres around the need to bridge the gap between academic research and industry practice. This tends to result from a lack of research that tests theory in the real world of practice. There is a need for HRD and Learning and Development academics to improve individual, organizational, and societal capability by developing more academically rigorous applied research while at the same time advancing the field by considering approaches for incorporating evidence-based research into organizational policies and procedures.

Specific streams of the conference include: Leadership, Management and Talent
Development; Technology, eLearning and Virtual HRD; Knowledge Management,
Organizational Learning and Learning Organizations; and Assessment,
Measurement and Evaluation of HRD.

Dates of UFHRD Conference: June 3rd – June 5th, 2015

• Cancellations received prior to Friday, 16th May 2015 will be refunded in full.
• No refunds will be given after 16th May.
• No refunds will be given to those who registered and who do not attend the conference.

Conference rate after 27th March (includes Gala Dinner and Welcome Reception): €450
Day rate (does not include Welcome Reception or Dinner): €150 per day
Doctoral rate (colloquium and conference): €300
Gala Dinner only €85 - Please note, the Gala Dinner is INCLUDED in the Full Registration & Doctoral Rates
